CEOs and Politicians are Psycho

My former boss at HP, Carly Fiorina, is running for US Senate for California. This internet vid is an attack on her fellow Republican opponent. She's nuts, yup. Carly came to visit us and I thought she was just an empty red power suit, but now I think that suit was animated by something whose name is Legion. Her first visit was just after P&G gave us computer geeks the boot and we were just happy not to have been handed over to EDS. She came in like a rock star at the convention center and dosed us with a load of feel-good. After some problems reality set in, she made an appearance at Taft Theater to deliver soothing BS and address employee questions with scripted non-answers. That prompted several talented people to bail out shortly after. It's not just my opinion: it's a common opinion in the industry that she ruined both HP and Compaq by forcing a merger. In April 2009, the business magazine web site Condé Nast Portfolio listed Fiorina as one of "The 20 Worst American CEOs of All Time", characterizing the HP-Compaq merger as a widely regarded failure, and citing the halving of HP's stock value under Fiorina's tenure. Ouch. She served as economic advisor for the McCain campaign last year but she hurt the campaign by saying Sarah Palin couldn't handle running a company like HP. You can read the Wikipedia article for a bland statement of the facts but it's so much more fun to read rude personal comments about her, these for example. If Carly ran the country, what stupid country would she merge us with?

I'm happy to hear from you. Anonymous is OK but I'd appreciate a clue.
